Practice More Often
This is a great way to improve your golf game, but be careful. It is estimated that over 75% of all golf injuries occur on the driving range. Take breaks during practice, and walk around and stretch. You should never putt for more than 10 to 15 minutes without taking a stretch break.
The Worst Four Letter Word -- Diet
Everyone talks about it, yet most of us do little to change it. To improve your diet, follow these simple strategies:
1)Drink lots of water: The more golf you play (especially in hot weather), the more water you'll need to replace lost fluids.
2)Eat more, not less: More fruits. More vegetables. More lean protein. More low-fat foods. More often. Only you control what goes in.
3)And... stretch daily!

How to Strengthen your grip:
The grip is very important in playing golf to be able to have strength in your hands is a must. Try this exercise
When your driving put your hands at the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock position on the steering wheel. Now squeeze the wheel with both hands and hold it for 3 seconds then let go. Do this sixty times a day and after 20 days you will have a powerful grip.

Stretch before each round or during round with a product like a versa tube ( a stretch cord with handles). Keep it in your golf bag and attach one end to the cart before you start play. The simplest stretch is grabbing the loose handle with both hands while standing perpendicular to anchored end, feet together and arms extended in front of you. The farther away you stand from anchored end the more tension. Twist your arms and frame to the right or left while keeping your head still.
You will feel the stretching most in your shoulders and hips.
A looser frame results in easier turns, longer and more accurate shots.
December, 2007
Keep a stretch cord in your bag. Before golfing or later in the round, attach it to the cart frame and stretch shoulders and hips.
